Dear Dove's Official Cover Drop and Story Developments

Hello dear readers! As I endeavor to publish my first completed novel, I wanted to give a preview of the official cover! I actually hired a designer, Cesar Padro, to create this cover, and working closely with the themes in the story, I present the new and improved cover for: Dear Dove!

The informational/promotional material might change as I go through editing, but this is roughly what the finished product will look like! As this is my first time publishing, I've run into a lot of bumps along the way; I'm still not entirely sure if I will keep trying to self-publish (the formatting and tax forms make it really confusing and tricky) or if I'll take this story to a traditional publisher. Ulitmately, I want to keep this story true to its roots, so whichever I pursue, I will fiercly defend the story no matter how many rounds of editing, reformating, and scrapping that takes.

Story Developments:

Also, I wanted to share the news that I plan on changing the second book of Dear Dove (currently known as Forever Yours). While I was writing Forever Yours, I noticed I was having a hard time getting the plot to flow; it just wasn't coming out the way I wanted it to, and I didn't feel I was doing the characters both their due justice. So, after brainstorming, I realized it's because none of us really know much about Crow yet- we're familiar with Crow as an antagonist, but not as a developed character. So, I plan on trying to write a novel from Crow's POV, and making it the second novel of the series. "Forever Yours" will most likely still be in the series, but it will be the third book instead of the second book.

Thank you all for reading, your patience, and your support!
J. Crown (aka Foxtatti, aka V. Kingdon)
